A BIG thank you to members of the East Hill Church for volunteering their time on Saturday, August 2 to clean-up the inside and outside of the PAL Youth Center in preparation for a University of Washington alumni event on August 9. The Center and grounds looked BEAUTIFUL when they were done!

July 11-13, 2008 four PAL Youth Leadership Program (YLP) members and one PAL chaperone attended the National PAL YLP Conference in New Orleans. Youth attended leadership sessions, met other PAL youth from throughout the country, and were able to do some sight-seeing in the “Big Easy”.
This opportunity was made available through a National PAL YLP grant that combines leadership training with service projects. PAL will continue the YLP program on its own after the grant concludes in August of 2008.
